Verse:
          Em G G
I’ve been dragging around from the end of your coat for two weeks, ah-ah,
Em/G G G/D
Everywhere you go is swirling, everything you say has water under it, ah-ah,
    Am Am/B C Em Em/F#
You know I keep your fingerprints in a pink folder in the middle of my table,
G G/A Am Am/B
You’re the tall kingdom I surround
C C/B Em Em/F# G/D
Think I better follow you around

Chorus:
Am Am/B C C/B
You might need me more than you think you will,
Em Em/F# G
Come home in the car you love, brainy, brainy, brainy,

Em/G G
Em/G G

Verse 2:
          Em G G
I’ve been dragging around from the end of your coat for two weeks, ah-ah,
         Em/G G Em G/D
You keep changing your fancy, fancy mind every time I decide to let it go,
Am Am/B C Em Em/F#
I was up all night again, boning up and reading the American dictionary,
G G/A Am Am/B
You’ll never believe me what I found,
C C/B Em Em/F# G/D
Think I better follow you around

Chorus 2:
Am Am/B C C/B
You might need me more than you think you will,
Em Em/F# G G/A
Come home in the car you love, brainy, brainy, brainy,
Am Am/B C C/B
You might need me more than you think you will,

*******NOTE FROM AUTHOR, PLEASE READ*********** The layout is messed up due to text wrapping: where there are two lines of chords play the top set first. Also ingore the automated chord diagrams, use the ones described in the text. Apologies for any confusion, I didn't know the format would be changed when I submitted it. And yes, capo on fret two!

I think chords are right, nice work...just fix the layout, it's completely misleading!
