Capo 4th

went to learn this song and none were really correct.
so i decided to take a stab.

Verse 1:
G C G
  Trying to beat my misery,
            C G
Don't wanna go across the sea,
               C G
And if I could take you everywhere,
              C G
There'd be no cause for my despair,

Chorus 1st:
      Em C G
And I know we won't touch for months,
         Em C G
And your smell will evade me,
        Em C G
But our love could survive a war,
           D C
Without the slightest sore,

Verse 2:
G C G
I know you suffer for my art,
       C G
Always pulling us apart,
        C G
Your forever in my brain,
     C G
Even when I cause you pain,

Chorus 2nd:
      Em C G
And I know I can't taste your skin,
        Em C G
With an ocean between us,
        Em C G
But our love is a dino-saur,
       D G
Hear it roar,

And your smell will evade me,
         Em C G
But our love could survive a war,
           D C
Without the slightest sore,
      Em C G
And I know I can't taste your skin,
        Em C G

If anyone's interested in the little riffs in between the lines, I believe the first one is: (relative to capo) E----02323 G etc. Not sure abut the second high riff though

I feel like the D should be an A.. sounds nicer for me anyway.
