This piece appears in various collections for two players on one lute and was probably written around 1600 for John Dowland to play with his son Robert.
This arrangement for two players on one cello is a fun challenge for our cellist (and myself) to play at a charity entertainment concert. It can obviously also be played on two cellos - and will probably sound a lot better. However the name of the game was to tackle the seemingly impossible… Over to you - I’d love to hear from you - if you give it a go.
