This song was written primarily for guitar, to be accompanied by a female singer with a warm and articulate voice. However, it also sounds beautiful on a piano, provided you don�t ring the notes in the chorus (and rearrange it for both treble and bass cleff). Otherwise, it sounds like your playing with the damper pedal depressed. Should you play it on guitar, it is understood to hold and ring every note until the next hand position change. The majority of the time, you will play 5 or 6 string chords.
