Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral is from the opera "Lohengren" and is one of the grand events in music history. It is music for a glorious procession of the beautiful bride, Elsa, as she walks to the cathedral to be united in marriage with Lohengrin, mystic knight of the holy Grail, who has come to deliver his people from the Hungarian invaders. With it's medieval color and pageantry it is one of the epic moments of grand opera, effectively arranged here for young bands.
