After playing this one, I hope you will take a look at my other music for 4 hands (including some more carol variations) too. This piece is one of a series for 2 pianos, and consists of 4 variations (NB duet versions of the pieces are also available for those who don't have 2 pianos! - visit www.simonpeberdymusic.com), the last of which is a short fugue. You don’t need to be be fantastic pianists; it is hoped that this will bring some joy for any who are fortunate to have 2 pianos, and if you’ve only got one, then borrow a keyboard from the neighbours and use that. It’s Christmas after all!
