An autograph manuscript of the first few bars dated April 1884 exists, perhaps made for a friend- as this was clearly not made at the same time the work was composed- as it was published in 1877- it serves to remind one to be careful that even an autograph cannot settle the date of a composition. (A similar situation exists with Hiller's E minor symphony (ca.1848).) - Schissel

There are at least two new editions of the work listed @ Worldcat (a Neue Auflage produced by the Lux Festspielverein of Ruhla in 2013, and a less recent 2002 production.)
