Navigation etc.

Described on the score as all of op.167, but this sometimes happens on American (and not just American of course) reprints of portions of works first printed elsewhere. (E.g. the choral score of one half of Raff's Die Tageszeiten op.209 is labeled just "Op.209" in its edition scanned at LoC instead of Op.209 nos.etc,etc.- someone who doesn't know the whole work excerpted there might think it the whole rather than the part. However, that Op.167 is "The Young Artist, 9 Instructive Compositions" is attested to in "Music: A Monthly Magazine" (ca.p.122, 1899- with a letter published by Emily Boyden- poss. Emily Boykin? - dedicatee of- well, probably not the same person). Another source gives the title of op.167 no.1.

That so many works by Maylath were published just in or around the year of his death suggests the possibility some were reprints, also.
