The Ordinary Ox is a new Christmas classroom musical, written by Claire Fitchie with music by James Wright. We all know the story of the nativity but you've never heard it like this before. There are the clowns who love to make children laugh, the ballerinas who love to dance, not to mention the cowboys, robots and dolls, who all love Christmas for different reasons. But the only one who knows the real reason for Christmas is an ordinary looking ox. With a simple but engaging script for KS1 and a humorous script for KS2, children and teachers alike will love this version of the Christmas story, giving the cast lots of opportunities to shine as they dress up and perform the colourful dance routines to the different characters while the songs are sung.
