' The origins of Oakmount Nocturne were formed in an Edwardian house. named Oakmount. with which I was enchanted as a child. Its oak panelled architecture seemed infused with the spirits of the people who once lived there. Returning in my dreams to 'Oakmount' over many years was necessary before this piece finally took it's present form. The music is highly Romantic in style, very melodic and yet with some exciting surprises too. ' - Geraldine Green.
