George Frederic Handel's Water Music Suites were intended for two or possibly three parties given by King George I on the Thames River in London between 1715 and 1736. On those occasions, Handel and his orchestra played on a barge. Since then, the twenty-two separate pieces that were originally written have been organized into three Suites and nicknamed Water Music. Adapted here for SATB saxophones, this suite features five contrasting movements. Allegro, Hornpipe, Minuet, Lentement, Bourree.
