The three parts "Give me some Funk," "Give me some Blues" and "Give me some Soul" allow young musicians, notwithstanding a limited strength, to perform a concert piece with contemporary popular rhythms. The slow blues is a nice contrast to the funky introduction, whereas the final movement introduced by a slow lyrical trumpet solo will set fire to the audience and invite them to clap hands as well.
