Dues Miniatures composed by Jordi Cervello. For String quintet. Instrumental Sets. Duration 7. 00. Published by Editorial de Musica Boileau. BO.B.2915. ISBN 84-8020-040-5. English comments. This work for orchestra and strings and also for quartet and quintet, has two movements, one show and one fast, base don pieces by Mozart and Mendelssohn. In the first movement, Andante, I take the theme from a sonata for violin and piano by Mozart with a lyrical and expansive mood. The second Scherzo takes direct inspiration from Mendelssohn's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. --Jordi Cervello. --Jordi Cervello.
