The eighth volume of Antonin Dvorak's Correspondence and Documents is the last of four volumes of papers, which Dvorak accepted between 1896 and 1904, i. at the time of his greatest world fame. This publication also concludes the eight-volume editorial series published since 1987 in which, in many cases, all and any letters addressed to and written by the composer, as well as other documents, were printed concerning his life and work. This volume, just like all the previous ones, apart from the original papers, also contains Czech translations of German and English written texts and foreign language summaries to the Czech letters. Biographical data is also available here about the writer's sheets with features of their relationship to Antonin Dvorak. The editorial series of Antonin Dvorak's Correspondence and Documents in its entirety enriches our knowledge of this outstanding composer.
