It is comprised of contrasting sections with musical elements that evoke imagery and stir the imagination of the listener. This piece offers an opportunity for students to connect this work with the more well-known orchestral work, opening a door to explore the similarities and differences between the two works. The form consists of two contrasting sections in ABA melodic form with an intro and ending. There’s plenty for students to learn and discover as they dig deeper into the nature in which the different parts interact, creating unique sonic textures.
