Concerto for Clarinet, K. 622. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Clarinet sheet music. Grade 5.

Original

Concerto for Clarinet, K. 622 composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. 1756-1791. Edited by trans. for wind ensemble by Robert W. Rumbelow. Concert Band. Concert Band. Masterworks. Donald Hunsberger Wind Library. Classical. Masterwork Arrangement. Grade 5.5. Conductor Score. 188 pages. Published by Alfred Music. AP.DH9703C. ISBN 0769258743. Classical. Masterwork Arrangement. In preparing himself for the process of scoring the Haydn Concerto for Trumpet and the two Mozart concerti, Rumbelow carefully analyzed the scoring patterns and tendencies of each composer. Mozart's concerti were originally scored for a string orchestra in five voices while his operas and symphonies contained woodwinds, horns, and trumpets in pairs plus occasional trombones. Thus, the approach taken to the present editions retains the use of pairs of woodwinds plus third harmonic voices such as English horn and bass clarinet. The woodwind bass voices have been reinforced with contrabass clarinet, contra bassoon and string bass. Recorded by Larry Combs, bassett clarinet, with the Eastman Wind Ensemble. Accompaniment available for rental only. Parts for this work are available on rental from the Alfred Rental Library at. 818. 891-5999 x157, e-mail. rental@alfred. com, or online at www. alfred. com. rental.
