This arrangement of a traditional folk ballad was adapted for five voices from the version recorded by Jonatha Brooke and The Story on their CD, The Angle in the House. It features bell tone, pyramid, duet and optional solo devices. It's written in moderate ranges for all voices with the exception of one low Eb and one low D in the bass part, both of which may be substituted an octave higher. This is a beautiful haunting piece which will add variety to your jazz vocal performance. SSATB a cappella.
