An absolutely storming chart from the Benny Goodman orchestra. Goodman made several takes of this tune, before deciding on which version to issue on record. The chart was rather lengthy in its original form, and had to be pared down in order to fit onto one side of a 78-rpm record. Alan Glasscock has reconstructed the chart with all of the intended choruses intact, as originally scored by Fletcher Henderson. Hence our arrangement differs a little from the mp3. All of the solos are written out. Piano - a full 32 bars, Trumpet and Clarinet. and the dynamics and articulations are meticulously accurate.
