Original

Dear Lord, Our Shining Star of Hope composed by Robert Cundick, Swedish Folk Tune. Arranged by Robert Cundick, Sr.. For SATB choir, Organ. Difficult. Medium Difficult. accompaniment. Octavo. Duration 3. 00. Published by Sonos. JK.01502. Choral anthem about the Savior's role in our earthly existence. A very majestic work that is tonal and based on a Swedish folk melody, but thoroughly modern in style. Requires a competant choir with especially high tenors and sopranos who visit high G. Other parts are moving, but not excessive in range. Useful for Easter, Palm Sunday, general, possibly Christmas. Robert Cundick Jr. wrote. "Dad is of Swedish heritage. his mother was full-blooded. and this melody, which Dad originally arranged and published as an organ solo, has been very special to us for that reason. I enjoyed hearing him play it many times during my growing up years. In fact, it well may be his favorite, for it is the piece he chose to perform for his final Tabernacle Choir broadcast.
