Heinichens grundet sich in erster Linie auf seine beiden Generalbass-Schulen, er war aber auch als Kantaten- und Opernkomponist hochgeschatzt. Die vorliegenden Kompositionen stammen aus einre Brusseler Sammelhandschrift. Im Manuskript zwar fur Violine bestimmt, zeigen sie durchaus blaserische Zuge, so dass eine Zuordnung fur Sopranblockflote naheliegt.
