A four part mass, edited from what is probably an 18th Century manuscript copy of the work. There is no Benedictus, either because there never was one, or, more likely, because by the Baroque period in Spain and Latin America the Benedictus was usually sung to a plain setting, so the original Benedictus may have been omitted. The Kyrie is suitable for SATB voices. The remainder of the work, other than the Agnus dei II, is more suited for SAAT. In the 5 part Agnus dei II the basses sing an octave below the second alto part.
