A canoe song, to help keep your paddling rhythm. A traditional murder ballad. A canon. Many things all mixed together. Aim for a flowing line, to smooth over the running quarter notes. Tuning is a challenge for this piece as the different lines try to pull in different directions, but other than that, it is very manageable. It sounds wonderful performed up a half-step, if that range works for your group. I always appreciate feedback. Tried this and loved it. Was anything unnecessarily difficult or confusing.
