Original

“In Nativitate Domini in aurora sequentia” transcribed from the Trent manuscript tr93. The time signature and the notes' values are as in the manuscript. The traditional melody. Graduale Pataviense c. 195r. is paraphrased at the Superius. The missing 3rd verse of the Contra has been derived from the Superius using the “faulxbourdon” technique. The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows. the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed note is a brevis - the right downstemmed note is a longa. The "musica ficta" suggestions are in the MIDI and MusicXML files.
