Original

Introit of the Easter morning Mass transcribed from the Trent manuscript tr93. The notes' values and colourings are as in the manuscript, the coloured groups, except the Gregorian incipits, are in “hemiolæ”. In the 2nd and 3rd sections there are only two voices written, but the flow of these voices. parallel sixth and octaves. calls strongly for, even if its' not expressly indicated, a third voice in “faulx bourdon”. a fourth below the Superius. The text is uderlayed only to first section of the Superius, all the other text underlayings are editorial. The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows. the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves – the right downstemmed notes are longæ. The “musica ficta” suggestions are in the MIDI and MusicXML files.
